The foundations for the CIO Forum - Hyderabad were laid in the year 2002, when a handful of IT – Heads and CIO’s did come together to form I.S. Community group, when there was a need to organize their activities and interact with leading analysts and technology leaders. They also wanted to share their knowledge and exchange ideas on what they felt was a fast emerging IT sector. CIO Forum – Hyderabad has the pride of being a professionally managed association of CIO’s and I.T. Heads of twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
In the quest to seek constant improvements among IT Professionals and the need for interaction amongst IT professionals was felt. To address this need, the CIO Forum – Hyderabad was formed. This is a forum where CTO's, CIO's discuss various issues related to the industry, ways of effectively using IT and its impact on the business. The objective is to create a platform for enterprise IT Heads to share and gather knowledge from case studies, peers, analysts, and technology leaders. The other area of interest includes innovation, leadership and IS management strategies.
Keeping in mind the interest of the IT Heads, CIO Forum works towards making the profession an area of choice amongst the Industry Verticals and is proud to have the Indian IS Manager community as a part of it.
The promotion of Information Technology as a profession is the one of the priorities of CIO Forum. To fulfill this objective, the CIO Forum regularly organizes meetings among the peers, and Knowledge Sharing Sessions for skill updating for the IT Heads.
